There’s exciting news for fans of engineering puzzles as a much-loved bridge-building sandbox makes its way to Quest this week. This release promises a range of challenges that can be tackled in both virtual reality and mixed reality on Quest, offering a fresh twist on the classic Bridge Constructor experience.
Initially planned to launch last week, Bridge Constructor Studio’s debut was pushed back a bit, but fans won’t have to wait much longer. Its arrival is now slated for December 12th. This engaging game brings a generous selection of 70 puzzles within its campaign mode. Players will have to creatively transport various vehicles from one point to another, utilizing an array of materials like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.
A key difference between this version and earlier flatscreen editions—or even its rival, Poly Bridge—is the XR version’s default absence of budget constraints and material limits. If you’re up for an additional challenge, though, you can switch these settings on to vie for a “special award,” as noted by the creators.
Beyond just the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio opens up endless possibilities with its Scenario Creation Mode. Here, you can design your own intricate bridge-building scenarios and save up to 40 custom levels directly to your profile, making for a truly personalized gaming experience.
The brains behind Bridge Constructor Studio are none other than ClockStone STUDIO. They’ve been thrilling gamers since 2011 with various versions of Bridge Constructor and were also responsible for bringing LEGO Bricktales (2023) to life in both flatscreen and XR formats.
Offering a pocket-friendly price of $10, Bridge Constructor Studio will be available exclusively for Quest 2 and 3 starting December 12th. If you’re eager to dive into this world, you’ll find it in the Horizon Store. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to test your engineering prowess!
