Last week, Monster Hunter Wilds pre-orders climbed to become the third most popular game on Steam. This rise in rank highlights the mounting excitement among fans eager for the February 28th launch, marking a notable milestone for Capcom’s cherished action RPG franchise. If you recall, back in 2019, Monster Hunter World dominated on PC, becoming Capcom’s second best-selling title.
On another note, Counter-Strike 2 bounced back to capture the top spot once again, while Civilization 7 also climbed up the ranks. The strategy game initially premiered at No. 3 after its February 10 release, although limited chart data might have understated its impressive performance. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 saw a drop to the fourth position despite hitting the two million sales mark. Meanwhile, Apex Legends surged an impressive 22 places to claim the fifth spot, riding the wave of a thrilling new season.
Elsewhere in the rankings, Valve’s Steam Deck, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and Marvel Rivals each slipped down a spot to occupy the sixth, seventh, and eighth positions. Furthermore, the freshly-released Obsidian RPG, Avowed, made its debut by snagging ninth place. And making a return to the Top Ten, Warframe ascended two places.
