Get ready to break a sweat as Pixel Arcade, the thrilling VR platformer, makes its grand entrance on the Quest today.
Pixel Arcade, crafted by CJG Studio, is not just any VR game—it’s a parkour extravaganza that dares players to dash through intricate neon mazes, all while striving for a coveted spot on the global leaderboard. But be warned: as you leap from one platform to another, cunning hazards such as lasers and bounce pads lie in wait, eager to disrupt your meticulously planned run.
The game features ten challenging levels, each filled with its unique set of complex spatial puzzles that will test your agility and wits. As you make progress, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock checkpoints to save your hard-earned progress and keep the momentum going.
Building on the foundation laid by its predecessor, Pixel Arcade Legacy, which debuted in 2016, this new release reintroduces the vibrant pixel playgrounds players loved, now with visual upgrades and fresh environments that invite new strategies for conquering every level.
Although multiplayer action isn’t on the menu from day one, CJG Studio has assured fans that it will be added in the future. You can also look forward to seasonal updates and additional in-game content that promise to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
Pixel Arcade initially launched on Steam Early Access and has now made its way to Quest. Keep an eye out for the PlayStation VR2 version, which, according to the trailer, is “coming soon.”
