Hello there! Big news from Konami this week: they’re hosting a Silent Hill livestream, giving us a sneak peek at Silent Hill f, a title that humorously thumbs its nose at conventional capitalization rules.
Although we’ve been treated to some Silent Hill content recently—thanks notably to the impressive Silent Hill 2 Remake created in partnership with Bloober Team—it’s been quite some time since we’ve had a fresh, mainline entry in the series. That’s where Silent Hill f steps in to fill that eerie gap.
Set your reminders: this Silent Hill stream kicks off on March 13 at 10 PM GMT (that’s 3 PM PDT and 6 PM ET for those across the pond). As soon as the stream goes live, we’ll drop a link right here. In the meantime, you’ll probably find it best to tune in through the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
So, what’s in store for the stream? Konami has teased, “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f.” Adding to the anticipation, the game’s director, Al Yang, shared his excitement, saying, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
If you need a quick refresher, Silent Hill f was originally revealed during a Silent Hill showcase back in 2022, alongside the aforementioned SH2 remake. Neobards Entertainment is at the helm of development, with Ryukishi07, famed for the When They Cry visual novels, crafting its narrative.
According to our in-house Silent Hill aficionado, Kelsey, the initial Silent Hill f teaser, featuring a hauntingly beautiful flower hat, looked “rather fascinating and stylized.” So, if scares are your thing, this is definitely one to put on your watchlist.
