CD Projekt RED has announced that it’s utilizing Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology to bring Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition to the Nintendo Switch 2.
In a conversation with Digital Foundry, the developer explained, "We’re incorporating a version of DLSS compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, which is powered by Nvidia’s Tensor cores. The game’s implementation of DLSS is thorough, functioning across all four modes: handheld and docked, both in performance and quality variations."
The team further elaborated, "Our goal is to achieve a resolution of 1080p when in docked quality mode, docked performance mode, and when playing in handheld quality mode. Meanwhile, we’re aiming for 720p in handheld performance mode."
