Devs United Games, renowned for creating the Quest-exclusive Real VR Fishing, is finally making waves in the PC VR world with the game’s release set for next month.
Slated to hit SteamVR headsets in early December, Real VR Fishing will maintain the approach and pricing structure that has made the Quest version so beloved. Players will have access to all DLCs right from the start—this includes the US West Coast, US East Coast, and both parts of the Japan DLC.
The core game boasts 40 fishing spots and more than 150 fish species, but the DLC packs significantly boost these numbers with 95 additional fishing locations and over 300 species to catch.
On the Quest, Real VR Fishing offers both solo and multiplayer experiences for up to four players. However, the studio has confirmed to Road to VR that the Steam release won’t support cross-play between Quest, Pico, and PC VR platforms.
The good news for Steam users is the inclusion of features like built-in YouTube and web browsing, along with monthly updates and options to customize your aquarium.
First launching on Quest back in late 2019, Real VR Fishing quickly became the platform’s go-to fishing game, achieving an impressive user rating of [4.6/5] from over 7,200 players.
For those eager to dive into this virtual angling adventure on PC, you can now add Real VR Fishing to your Steam wishlist ahead of its release in early December.
