Bandai Namco Entertainment has rolled out a new software update for Freedom Wars Remastered on the Nintendo Switch, bringing the game up to version 1.4.0. This update tackles a variety of bugs that were plaguing players, improving the overall gameplay experience.
Some of the key issues addressed include glitches in the Multiplayer Lobby that caused unresponsiveness, instances where screens would freeze during Private Room matches, and enemies dropping items they weren’t supposed to. Additionally, some operations were incorrectly repeating themselves.

Thorn Gauge Adjustment During Revival: When reviving a character by approaching them, the Thorn Gauge will no longer deplete. However, revivals done from a distance using thorns will still consume the gauge as before.

Stagger Behavior Adjustment: The staggering effect when colliding with obstacles while carrying citizens during contributions has been reduced.

Attack Hitbox Adjustments: Calibrated the attack hitbox for Power Attack Charge 1 on Heavy Melee Mimas and Caliburn type weapons to align with the visual representation.

Thorn Connection Power Attack Correction: A power attack now triggers a normal attack that can be charged when connected to the Thorn with Heavy Melee. This adjustment also cancels the Thorn connection across all weapons.
