Can you believe it’s already been a year since Palworld hit early access? Time flies, doesn’t it? While the initial hype around this quirky blend of Pokémon and firearms might have simmered down a bit, the game has consistently rolled out updates. Even with the recent bumps in the road, like the legal tussle with The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, the developers aren’t letting that slow them down. They just dropped a roadmap on their official Twitter account, unveiling a slew of incoming features that fans have been eagerly awaiting.
Among the major updates, players can look forward to the addition of co-op crossplay, which promises to expand the multiplayer experience. You’ll also be able to transfer your Pals across different worlds—a handy feature for sure. Plus, a Final Boss and an ending scenario are on the horizon, which should provide a thrilling climax to the game’s narrative. There’s also talk of enhancing your Pals’ abilities, introducing more Pals and tech advancements, and, interestingly enough, game collaborations. It seems the Terraria crossover isn’t the only partnership in the pipeline. On top of all that, expect improvements in base Pals, world design, and user experience.
If you’re wondering when these updates will drop, well, your guess is as good as ours. The roadmap basically lays out what’s in the works, so we’ll just have to stay tuned for official release dates. Meanwhile, Palworld is kicking off its first-ever global popularity poll, where you can cast your vote for your favorite Pal. Personally, I’m rooting for that Totoro lookalike wielding a gatling gun—what a standout character!
As always, the development team seems committed to refining Palworld before its official release, and we can’t wait to see where this wacky adventure takes us next.
