Nintendo Releases – April 10, 2025 – Updates

After what felt like a whirlwind week of craziness, it’s time to settle back into the regular rhythm of life with what’s become the usual fare for the Switch OG.

Let’s quickly touch on what we overlooked last week: The Archives got themselves a neat addition with Namco’s Assault Plus.

Reflecting on the past week leaves us with four simple words, "OK, so THAT happened." Between the Switch 2 Direct and the subsequent chaos, primarily due to 20500, wading through just another routine week of eShop releases seems almost like a calm relief. But don’t worry, there are a few gems that stand out in this week’s lineup. Firstly, there’s Star Overdrive, a game centered around hovercrafts that was briefly mentioned in a Direct. Wow, even though that was only ten days ago, it feels like forever. There’s also Battlefield Waltz, a release from Idea Factory/Otomate, localized by IFI. Keep an eye out for any day-one patches, as they can often make a big difference!

Turning to some other interesting picks for the week: "Promise Mascot Agency" and another entry in the Snow Bros. series. We also have a blast from the past with this week’s EggConsole release—a classic maze game from 1983—which means Pyramid Warp is still available for fans beyond Japan.
