A talented Pokemon fan artist, known for their creativity, has crafted a fresh Fighting-type evolution of Eevee, aptly named Champeon. The world of Pokemon fans is brimming with creative individuals who often reimagine and introduce new forms of beloved favorites, and Eeveelutions seem to spark quite a bit of imagination and joy among them.
Eevee’s initial entry into the Pokemon universe as a Normal-type was an interesting one, with its special attribute being its ability to evolve in numerous ways. Initially, trainers could guide Eevee into becoming either Flareon, Vaporeon, or Jolteon. As generations progressed, Gen 2 expanded Eevee’s options further with Umbreon and Espeon. Later additions like Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon brought the total number of Eevee evolutions to eight, a feat unmatched by any other Pokemon.
Currently, an artist going by the name 67chrome has unleashed a Fighting-type Eeveelution named Champeon. Champeon deviates from the traditional Eeveelutions with striking features such as larger eyes, a distinct color scheme, and added fur. However, the most notable difference is Champeon’s additional hands, taking the place of its ears and tail, which enable it to deliver formidable attacks. The design includes its statblock and signature moves like Drain Punch and Baton Pass. Even though crafting Champeon came with its challenges—primarily balancing the familiar aspects of Eevee with its new fighting prowess—the design has garnered significant approval from the community, especially due to its clever name and intriguing features.
This isn’t the first time Pokemon fans have concocted unique Eeveelutions. Not too long ago, another artist introduced a Poison-type evolution for Eevee, dubbed Serpeon, which transformed the critter into a snake-tailed blue fox. In a different artistic adventure, a fan imagined a Ghost-type evolution called Halluceon, giving Eevee a spectral, cat-like form with skeletal characteristics and purple embellishments.
Recently, another creative mind shared their vision of dragon-themed Eeveelutions in a delightful gallery that reimagined them in an adorable new light. With so much creativity buzzing in the community, it seems only a matter of time before more such captivating Eeveelutions surface, especially since it’s been quite a while since the last Nintendo-official Eeveelution made its debut.
