Hosted entirely online within the Nintendo Switch game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, this event is organized by Nintendo of Europe SE, based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6th, when the challenge kicks off from 18:00 to 20:00 CET (17:00 to 19:00 UK time). Players from a wide array of countries, including Austria, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, will be able to participate. However, due to connectivity issues, folks from remote regions like the Azores and Svalbard archipelago might miss out.
Getting In the Game
If you’re aiming to enter, make sure your Nintendo Account reflects one of the eligible countries and that your Nintendo Switch Online membership is active—free trials work just as well as paid subscriptions. Players need access to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch and must successfully complete at least one tournament match through the “Official Tourney Qualifiers” in the game’s online menu.
Understanding the Tourney Score
For this event, the Tourney score will gauge each player’s skill level. It considers individual match outcomes and the opponents’ scores. You can check your score anytime during the competition within the game. Feel free to dive into as many matches as possible, as all matches started during the event will contribute to your score, even if they extend beyond the timeframe.
Prizes for the Champions
The top 10 players scoring the highest will bag 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points each. Meanwhile, others in the top 100 won’t walk away empty-handed, as they’ll each receive 1,000 points.
