Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trade, a popular role-playing game, has surpassed the impressive milestone of selling over one million copies. Developer Owlcat Games shared this exciting news 13 months after the game first hit the shelves in December 2023. This sales achievement spans across various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
“We’re thrilled to reach this significant milestone with our third game, which tells us we’re heading in the right direction as developers,” expressed Oleg Shpilchevskiy, the studio head at Owlcat Games. “Collaborating with the amazing Warhammer team allowed us to craft the CRPG we’ve always envisioned, set in the dark and gritty universe of the 41st millennium. We’re eager to deliver more gripping stories within the vast Warhammer 40,000 universe.”
Back in August 2024, Owlcat expanded its ventures by launching a new publishing division, which already boasts two titles under its wing. Meanwhile, another game from the Warhammer 40,000 series, Space Marine 2, achieved an impressive feat with five million sales just three months after its release in September 2024.
