Alien: Rogue Incursion hits the market today for PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets, and while fans eagerly await, the Quest version is set to launch in February next year. Meanwhile, developer Survios didn’t waste time in announcing plans for ‘Part Two,’ which is already in the works.
In our comprehensive review of Part One, we awarded the game a respectable 7 out of 10. We were drawn in by its captivating atmosphere and compelling storyline, though repetition in enemy encounters and a challenging save system slightly hindered the experience.
Standing at a solid eight hours of gameplay, Part One could easily function as a self-contained entry in the series. It offers plenty of Xenomorphs and engaging narrative moments, yet it leaves you ready and anticipating the continuation—Part Two.
Details remain sparse about what players can expect next, but Survios teases a more diverse range of challenges compared to the familiar packs of Xenomorphs in Part One. They promise that Part Two will not only carry on Zula’s journey but will also introduce more formidable enemies and tougher challenges. Development is already underway.
Before that, Quest enthusiasts can look forward to the release of Part One on Quest 3/3S, scheduled for February 13th, 2025. Bringing those dynamic levels, detailed textures, and interactive physics to the mobile chipset of Quest 3 seems to be a complex task, potentially explaining the initial delay.
Though still awaiting the Quest release, with the core systems already established from Part One, fans are hopeful for a swift follow-up to Zula Hendricks’ climactic battle. Let’s see if she can finally rid the rogue science station of its Xenomorph threats once and for all.
